Controversy has surrounded the upcoming release of the film, Drake’s Homecoming: The Lost Footage. Set to hit 350 theatres across North America on March 19, the film is based around Drake’s sold-out homecoming concert at Toronto’s Sound Academy in 2009, prior to officially signing with Lil Wayne’s Young Money label.
Now, the Toronto artist is being sued for his recent statements about not supporting the film.
According to TMZ, Specticast, the company distributing the film, is suing Drake for sabotaging its release.
