While artists on the come up like Fetty Wap and Retch are doing their thing repping Jersey, iconic rapper DMX just put NJ on the map in a whole new way over the weekend.
According to various reports, DMX decided it would be smart to hold up a gas station with his entourage. A young man, who had $3200 in his possession, was allegedly held up at gun point by a member of his crew on Easter Sunday.
DMX and his cohorts were in town after a performance in Newark on Saturday and according to the young man, they had a conversation, a man demanded he hand over the money. Then, DMX “snatched the money out of his hand,” according to Newark police spokesman Sgt. Ronald Glover, before driving off.
Now, we have many questions about this whole incident, but no arrests have been made…
But, do you agree with Ebro on this? Check out his tweet, below.
