Thats right–Hannibal Buress, the comedian, actor and writer.
He is the first comedian EVER to dawn the cover of the music & lifestyle magazine The FADER, issue 97. Hannibal deserves this cover more than anyone right now, he is currently doing a sold out tour with him doing up to 3 shows a night, his own show titled Why? With Hannibal Buress set to premiere on Comedy Central in July, and currently stars in the shows Broad City, The Eric Andre Show, and Lucas Bros Moving Co.
In the exclusive interview, written by Hua Hsu and photographed by Mark Peckezian, Buress goes on to speak about the struggles and hard work it takes to actually gain success, and dealing with life on tour after the Bill Cosby joke that got everyone buzzing. The editor-in-cheif Naomi Zeichner said she put him on the cover because he is an artist at the top of his game, taking his own path making sure all his material is perfect and not released until it is.
His upcoming show set to release July 8th on Comedy Central is described by Hannibal as “Weeds X Breaking Bad X Chelsea Lately,” let’s see how the network feels about this one!
