After Young Thug first stepped into the rap game, everyone was wondering where he got his style and sound inspiration from since he seemed to stand out so much. When asked who his inspiration and favorite rapper was, his reply was simply “Lil Wayne, Lil Wayne, Lil Wayne.” On Lil Wayne’s side however, he has done little to acknowledge Young Thug as a star on the rise.
Wayne has finally broke his silence about the issue talking to fans during a stop on his ‘Release Partiez’ nightclub tour in Mississippi. “Before I go any further, I want y’all to do me a favor and stop listening to songs of niggas that pose naked on their motherfucking album cover,” he goes on to tell the crowd.
