No sarcasm. One would assume one of the greatest quarterbacks in the history of the NFL would be able to throw a baseball with no problem. That was not the case, though, for Tom Brady on Monday at Fenway in Boston. The four-time Super Bowl winner tossed the first pitch to David Ortiz at the Red Sox’s home opener, with coach Bill Belichick looking on, and it’s clear he should stick to football. Here is actual footage of it, and you can hear the crowd’s reaction:
Before Brady threw the pitch, he carried one of the Patriot’s Super Bowl trophies onto the field, as did Belichick (Red Sox coach) and Patriots president Jonathan Kraft. Also if you didn’t notice, he is wearing a shirt with a #5, obviously telling the rest of the NFL and fans that the 5th Super Bowl is in his hands.
