No one is ever happy when their car gets towed, and a nasty attendant when you go to retrieve your vehicle will only bring your attitude up 100 more notches. ESPN reporter Britt McHenry found herself in that position earlier this week and decided to throw all the shade she had toward the attendant, though we can’t hear how it started. It seems like the attendant had to have said something, though, as the one-minute clip starts with McHenry saying she’s on the news and will “f*cking sue.”
From there she just continues to drop insult after insult, from “lose weight, babygirl” to “so I could be a college dropout and do the same thing?” (which is rather hilarious,) and it’s resulted in her one-week suspension from ESPN.
She has since responded with a tweet:
In an intense and stressful moment, I allowed my emotions to get the best of me and said some insulting and regrettable things. As frustrated as I was, I should always choose to be respectful and take the high road. I am so sorry for my actions and will learn from this mistake.
