Rihanna is giving us a groovy psychedelic 70s vibe as she dawns the latest cover of V Magazine. With RIHANNAHAMA as the headline, Rihanna sports a blonde wig in brightly colored outfits (her idea!) shot by Steven Meisel and styled by Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele. Within the pages, the songstress talks her new album and privacy. When asked about privacy, she told V, “Do I even give a dick about that anymore?”
And when asked about her absence on the music scene for the past two years she said:
“I didn’t actually take time off. The past two years are the hardest I’ve ever worked. I’ve been working on two albums, an animated film, shooting for multiple magazines, designing for Puma and Stance [socks], a new line of fragrances, a summer tour, I launched my first annual Diamond Ball at the end of last year, and I’ve also been developing several projects to be revealed in the near future.”
If you’re one of the many in the #RihNavy waiting on her 8th studio album to be released, here is what she had to say about it:
“Dude, I’m in love with my interludes. This one called ‘James,’ joint is on constant repeat. [The album is] soulful and aggressive, whether it’s lyrically, musically, or just the tone of my voice.”
