Scarface, the Geto Boys member and southern rap legend has been in the media lately promoting his new book Diary Of A Madman. During his interview with Marc Lamont Hill of the HuffPost Live he was asked about the recent police brutality cases and you can tell he is fed up as he lashed out quickly, saying:
“I feel like we’re being hunted, you know? And yeah, I’m not cool with it. It’s like the society believes what the officers say, and he’s got way more of a reason to lie than we do, than I do. You killed that man. And he don’t even get a day in court. Not that the judicial system is set up for us to benefit from in any f*cking way. You’re dead on both sides. You are.”
He then got emotional speaking about police lying about minorities going for their guns or trying to run away, saying:
“Don’t get me started. You know God damn well we ain’t gonna reach for no motherf*cking police officer’s gun, that sh*t makes me mad. That’s a f*cking lie!”
Scarface’s book Diary of a Madman is in stores now, make sure to go cop it!
