As the tragedy continues to unfold in Baltimore, some of the most influential people are coming together in support of a good cause and in the name of justice.

As Wale walked with students down to city hall in Baltimore, Joey Bada$$ was in his native New York City, marching amongst the people for the same cause. VIBE reports the Pro Era rapper “stopped to talk to anybody who had questions or — just something to say about the tragedy in Baltimore.”

Elsewhere, Beyoncé took to Instagram to show her support, first sharing the powerful TIME Magazine cover, then announcing she’d joined forces with NAACP to help with Baltimore’s cleanup efforts.

The Game wrote a powerful piece for Billboard titled “Young Black Men Are Targets,” addressing Baltimore’s current events and comparing them to the ’92 riots in L.A., which he also lived through and was a part of. You can read the open editorial here.
