Dorian Johnson, friend of Michael Brown and also key witness in Brown’s shooting, was arrested Wednesday afternoon. Allegedly Johnson interfered with an arrest and proceeded discarding what was suspected to be narcotics.
St. Louis County Police spokeswoman Leah K. Freeman said Johnson was seen:
“Discarding suspected narcotics on the ground,” also “No charges have been filed against Johnson yet.”
The same day an attorney announced Johnson is suing the city of Ferguson, the irony. Former police chief and former officer Dareen Wilson will be sued by Johnson for he claims he has suffered psychological scars and emotional on the day of Michael Brown’s shooting.
According to CNN affiliates KTVI and KPLR, Johnson is looking for at least $25,000 in damages also he is asking for an injunction to stop what he calls discriminatory police practices in Ferguson.
As we all are aware of what is going on in the world, it is truly devastating, and the August shooting of Brown started protests all across the country. We have a national debate at hand over whether police are using excessive force against African Americans. Now one cannot argue with this because the proof is in the pudding, between Treyvon Martin, Eric Garner, and many more. May all of them rest in peace.
Jeff Small said:
“The City was aware of the lawsuit but declined to comment on pending litigation.”
