Lionel Pickens, better known from his affiliation with Coke Boyz and his stage name, Chinx, has celebrities speaking out on this tragic passing all over Instagram and Twitter. Sunday morning Chinx was in his car as the unnamed gunman let off 15 shots into his body.

Police do not have any motive for the killing, but three suspects in Far Rockaway have been taken into custody for questioning. Chinx’s cousin has told police that this shooting was most likely fueled by jealousy from rivals in his old hood. No matter what, no one deserves to go out like this, most definitely not someone who is trying to do right for his family and himself.

Check out some of these heartfelt posts in tribute to Chinx.

Who would of thought‼️ i'll ever get that call ‼️

Now even though Jay-Z was on night 2 of his Tidal x B-Sides concert, he took a moment to pay tribute to rapper Chinx Drugz. Respect to you HOV!

It’s a sad time for hip-hop, Chinx was only 31 years old and he was gearing up for his debut album “Welcome to JFK,” which was to be released later this year. RIP Chinx!
