After the Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Atlanta Hawks in the Eastern Conference Finals, LeBron James is headed towards the Finals for the 5th year in a row. Although James has been in the last 4 NBA Finals, I’m sure the feeling doesn’t get old. It’s been a long time…like, a REALLY long time since a player has made it to the Finals 5 consecutive times. The last player to hold that torch was Bill Russell in 1966 when he played for the Boston Celtics.
James seems to be unstoppable when it comes to reaching the Finals. He’s has made it to the Finals from Miami and Cleveland, with good and not so good teammates both times. This time, he’s headed for the finals alongside the Cavalier’s second and third-best players, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love, respectively.
