Unless you live under a rock, you know that Bruce Jenner has successfully transitioned into a woman. As it stated on the July cover of Vanity Fair, the former Olympian would liked to be addressed as Caitlyn Jenner and under female pronouns from now on.
When the cover debuted on June 1, a new profile name was added to all of her social media. Much of the world responded in various ways– many noting that Caitlyn is spelled with a “C” and not a “K” with her relations to the Kardashian Family. Still, Caitlyn is proud.
I’m so happy after such a long struggle to be living my true self. Welcome to the world Caitlyn. Can’t wait for you to get to know her/me.

While tweets from her famous family poured in, the Commander in Chief reached out on his own Twitter. President Obama tweeted, “It takes courage to share your story.”

Luckily, President Obama isn’t holding a grudge because Caitlyn broke his Twitter record- she gained 2 million followers in under 48 hours, beating his record when he joined Twitter last week.
What are your thoughts on the big change?
