The “Made In America” music festival that is now four years old will return to Philly on September 5th and 6th. However, the festival will not be making a come back to Los Angeles due to last year’s noise complaints among other issues. Last year a few of the performers included Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, YG, and Iggy Azalea.
Budweiser VP of marketing Brian Perkins explained to Billboard that:
“This is not at all a stepping back — this is a reevaluation of the model of going from one location to two to three. We’re a very ambitious brand, and we have a very ambitious partner in Jay Z, who also dreams big. And we always want to do big, bold things with music under the moniker of Budweiser Made In America.”
Along with this announcement, something more exciting came! Made in America plans to host a FREE concert on Liberty Island in New York, according to Billboard. Although a line-up hasn’t been announced, Mary J. Blige is reportedly headlining the NY show.
