Kim Kardashian may just rent the entire city of Los Angeles for Kanye’s 40th, because she went all in for Kanye’s 38th.

The international superstar turned 38 and his wife Kim had to bring it in with a bang. She surprised her husband by renting out the entire Staples Center in Los Angeles for Kanye and all of his celebrity friends to play a pick up game of basketball.  According to E News!, the entire event cost Kim $110,000– which is chump change compared to what she makes in a year.

Kim tweeted a hint earlier that day and later on Instagram, her sister Khloe let the world in on exactly what her tweet meant.

Yeezy’s Swish birthday event was a great play on Kanye’s forthcoming album, entitled “SWISH.” The birthday boy along with many of his celebrity friends suited up for a game of “East” vs “West” basketball. In attendance was NBA star players James Harden, Russell Westbrook, John Wall as well as rappers Tyga, Pusha T, 2 Chains and many more.

To top off the game Kanye received a Larry O’Brien trophy shaped cake and a special Birthday song from his good friend John Legend as well as a video tribute from NBA legends. Way to go Kim!  Legend also sang the National anthem.
