While Lil Wayne was headlining Oakland’s KMEL Summer Jam this weekend, he made an announcement to the crowd about his new deal with Jay Z.

I just signed a deal with my motherfucking idol, Jay Z.

Without detail given, that led many to think that he may just have signed with Roc Nation, especially because that would make sense considering Weezy’s current situation with Cash Money Records.

However, Wayne’s manager Cortez Bryant spoke with TMZ, and not only clarified that Wayne was indeed referring to becoming a partner/artist on TIDAL, but he also revealed that Wayne’s next album (likely The Free Weezy Album) will be released exclusively via the streaming service as well.

Will this sway you to sign up, or you still aren’t moved just yet?
