As young teenagers curiosity levels are strikingly high, you may want to explore and experiment everything that adults do – whether it is smoking a cigarette, staying out late or even getting wasted while your parents think you’re at Becky’s house having a study party.
Even though it’s illegal for teenagers to consume alcohol, we all know how that sh*t go,…but surprisingly, statistics show that this underage drinking epidemic is slowly decreasing.
According to a recent study, both underage drinking and binge drinking have shown a sharp decline between 2002 and 2013. The number of underage participants dropping from 28.8% to 22.7% and the number of binge-prone participants dropping from 19.3% to 14.2%.
Now some people use the term “binge drinking” loosely. When one hears the term, they likely think of a person with an alcohol addiction, when in reality, if you are consuming five or more drinks at one solid event – you, my friend, are considered a binge drinker.
