“Rapper in Chief” or “Most Powerful Man on Earth?” Infamous “news” outlet, Fox, might not understand the difference.

Everyone has been talking about President Obama’s latest interview with Marc Maron on WTF. In it, the President spoke about many issues including the Charleston AME Church massacre, gun control and the long history of America’s racial issues. Fox News didn’t hesitate to skip over most of the powerful, enlightening statements the President said and focus on, to no surprise, his quotes using the “N– word.”

The full quote reads:

“Racism, we are not cured of it. It’s not just a matter of it not being polite to say nigger in public. That’s not the measure of whether racism still exists or not. It’s not just a matter of overt discrimination. Societies don’t, overnight, completely erase everything that happened 200 to 300 years prior.”

Fox News guests as well as anchor couldn’t wait to bash the President responding with:

“He has really dragged in the gutter-speak of rap music. So now he’s the first President of rap, of street? I mean — come on — he has lowered the stature of the high office of the President of the United States.”

They have lowered the “stature” of public media by calling the President of The United States of America the “President of Rap.”
