It’s been a cat and mouse chase with these two convicted murderers who escaped from an upstate New York maximum security prison three weeks ago. According to VIBE, Authorities found inmate David Sweat five miles south of the Canadian border in the area of Constable and Burke, N.Y., reportedly trying to make a break to the border, but he was shot and captured.
Clinton County Sheriff Dave Favro, stated that Sweat has been taken to Alice Hyde Medical Center in Malone, NY for treatment for his gun shot wound. As for the other escapee Richard Matt, was shot and killed on June 26 by a border patrol SWAT team in the woods of Elephant’s Head, N.Y., approximately 50 miles away from the prison.
This goes to show you if you can’t do the time don’t do the crime.
