Meek Mill’s latest album, Dreams Worth More Than Money, lived up to the hype. The first week numbers are in and the Philadelphia native sold 216,173 copies, beating out every other rapper’s first week numbers besides Drake.
When the MMG rapper released his sophomore album last week, many projected that it would sell over 200k. Not only did he exceed expectations, he also sold 50k more than his debut album, Dreams and Nightmares.
According to HitsDailyDouble, Meek’s numbers should land him at no. 1 on the album charts. R&B singer Miguel will come in at no. 2 with 39k sales of his new album, WILDHEART.
It’s good to be Meek.
