According to new documents, Bill Cosby admitted to getting Quaaludes for the sole purpose of giving them to women in order to have sex with them.
In the documents, when Cosby is asked “When you got the Quaaludes, was it in your mind that you were going to use these Quaaludes for young women that you wanted to have sex with?” his reply was a simple yes. The next question asked was “Did you ever give any of those young women the Quaaludes without their knowledge?” in which Cosby did not answer since his attorney objected.
Although Cosby did admit to getting Quaaludes with the intentions of raping women, he did not admit to actually drugging the specific women accusing him of sexual assault. He in fact said he gave the drugs to other people, and when asked who those people were his lawyer objected before he got a chance to answer.
One of his accused victims that goes by the name of Patti Masten said lots of women have messaged her in private with similar stories. She went on to say:
“We’re up to 48 accusers. There are many who have not come forward.”
In most of the cases however, the statute of limitations has passed and so that would prevent prosecution. Regardless, this news being made public is a definite game changer, and the women believe they will be heard now.
