Lil Wayne has had some major setbacks this year when financial turmoil arose between him and Cash Money president Birdman, but seems like nothing is stopping the Louisiana rapper from doing great things. Weezy celebrated the 4th of July by releasing his album Free Weezy Album via TIDAL, and now less than a week later he’s announced his first ever ‘Lil Weezyana Fest’- a benefit concert to honor the 10 year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina.
The festival is set to take place in New Orlean’s Champion Square on August 28. The lineup is yet to be announced, but we’ll keep you updated. However, tickets have already gone on sale.
Definitely a good look for Weezy!
