Chief Keef let the world know he is going to perform this Friday to benefit the family of a toddler who was killed in Chicago after a shooting which ended up in the death of Glo Gang rapper Capo as well.
The two suspects currently in custody ran over and ended up killing 1-year old Dillon Thomas as they tried to flee the scene. The innocent baby was simply sitting in his stroller on the 6300 block of South Ellis Avenue in Chicago’s Woodlawn neighborhood.
According to the Chicago Tribune, the concert will be free and all concertgoers will be encouraged to make donation. Chief Keef will be performing via hologram from a Los Angeles soundstage.
Keef’s spokesman went on to said that he is heartbroken and appalled, and unable to attend in person due to “outstanding warrants his legal team is addressing.” He also announced that Keef is creating a new organization called Stop the Violence Now Foundation!
