Right after Keef’s hologram benefit concert got cancelled in Chicago and shut down in Indiana, he took to his Twitter platform to talk to his followers about his next plan. This plan is him running for mayor! To start off his campaign, he made sure to let potential voters that voting for him would be “the best thing done yet.”
Keef claims that he can’t perform in Chicago because of the city’s current mayor, Rahm Emanuel. After making this claim, he urged everyone that saw the tweet to complain:
Mayor Thomas McDermott, of Hammond, Indiana, where the concert was supposed to be held, had a few words to exchange about the matter. He told The New York Times:
“He’s been basically outlawed in Chicago, and we’re not going to let you circumvent Mayor Emanuel by going next door.”
So Chitown readers, will you be voting for Chief Keef?
