Whitney Houston left a whole lot to her daughter Bobbi Kristina, and after both deaths people are probably wondering where all that inheritance is going now. Bobbi had inherited her mom’s estate which was estimated being worth over $20,000,000!
Two attorneys who read Houston’s will knows that her money will be divided between Houston’s family members, such as her mother and brothers. According to The Wrap, while Bobbi was alive she only received the first payment of her inheritance. Attorney Bruce Gaynes explains what is written in Houston’s will:
“if Bobbi Kristina were to die unmarried, without children of her own and had left no will and testament of her own, the estate would be divided among Whitney’s living relatives.”
Those relatives are listed in the will as Whitney’s mother Emily “Cissy” Houston, and her brothers Michael and Gary. Whitney’s father John is listed too, but he’s since passed away in 2003. Haynes goes on to say that:
“Robert Brown (Bobby Brown) is also listed, but their divorce … would nullify his claim to the estate.”
Bobby Brown broke his silence on Monday in a statement from his lawyer about the passing away of his daughter:
“Krissy was and is an angel. I am completely numb at this time. My family must find a way to live with her in spirit and honor her memory. Our loss is unimaginable. We thank everyone for the prayers for Krissy and our family as we mourn my baby girl.”
