We have to speak up and speak out for ourselves. White, black, female or male, we all have voices and that what Darius Simpson and Scout Bostley want to remind us. The two recite a poem called “Lost Voices” which placed third in this year’s College Union Poetry Slam Invitational Finals. Darius and Scout speak passionate about some of the issues with face today with race and gender. The two reminded the audience that with everyone’s voices being hidden under major leaders people losing their power, which is their voice. Check it out below.
