This past weekend President Obama announced the Clean Power Plan, which is the “biggest, most important” step towards combatting climate change according to Obama. All of the details will be revealed Monday but in a Facebook video posted by the White House it’s pretty understandable.
In the video refers to the climate change as facts and not something that may or may not be real. Up until now, there have been no restrictions on carbon emissions for power plants. Obama looks to change that with the new plan. The regulation will require all states to put in place changes to hit their own personal carbon emission targets.
The plan hasn’t made its official debut yet but it will soon. Obama seems to be very serious about combatting climate change for the future generations. Watch the video and let us know if you stand behind Obama’s plan.
