Kelly Osbourne is currently under fire right now for a statement she made regarding Latino’s on “The View” Tuesday morning as she tried to slam Donald Trump.
“If you kick every Latino out of this country, then who is going to be cleaning your toilet, Donald Trump? You know what I mean?” she said in an attempt to slam Trump, who currently is a presidential candidate for the Republican Party. Trump is no stranger to the backlash Osbourne is currently receiving as he stated last month that Mexicans sent rapists to the U.S. amongst other things in a speech.
“No, that’s not… no,” chimed in co-host Rosie Perez, continuing, “There’s more jobs than that in the country for Latinos, and Latinos are not the only people who clean toilets.”
Osbourne immediately backtracked her statement: “I didn’t mean it like that, come on. I would never mean it like that. I’m not part of this argument.”
Later on in the show Osbourne would apologize again, and later on she tweeted her regret about her comments, then she posted an apology to Facebook as well.
“I want to start by saying I ALWAYS take responsibility for my actions. In this particular case I will take responsibility for my poor choice of words but I will not apologize for being a racist as I am NOT,” she wrote.
In February Osbourne shied away from former co-host Guliana Rancic after negative comments she made about Zendaya’s dreadlocks that threw her into a fire of her own.
