After Monae’s rundown of her set list, she voiced a message dealing with police brutality in America, which was reportedly cut short by the show’s host. “Yes Lord! God bless America! God bless all the lost lives to police brutality. We want white America to know that we stand tall today,” the “Q.U.E.E.N.” singer said. “We want black America to know we stand tall today.
