At a news conference yesterday in Iowa, Donald Trump kicked out Latino journalist Jorge Ramos after he asked about his immigration plans.
It’s definitely an important question and one that makes sense to ask if you’re Ramos. Especially when Trump made comments like these a couple months ago:
“The U.S. has become a dumping ground for everybody else’s problems. When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. They’re not sending you. They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems [with them]. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists.”
Trump dismissed the Mexican-American journalist, is an anchor for Univision who has interviewed Barack Obama and former presidents George W. Bush and Bill Clinton. Trump told Ramos to “sit down” insisting that he was never called on and he also told him to “go back to Univision,” which is the network that ended all business deals with the mogul after his racist remarks went viral.
