Last night, Smack/URL Veteran Tsu Surf had a mixtape release party to finally drop his latest tape entitled Newark.

Before Surf hit the stage at JQ Lounge in the album’s title city, URL battle rappers Shotgun Suge and ADG performed hits like “Middle East” and “Call My Lawyer.”  Their mixtape entitled EWR just dropped.

Then Brooklyn rapper Manolo Rose took the stage to really turn things up.  He performed a few hits such as “Run Ricky Run” and “Super Flexin”. Surf was then ready to start his show surrounded by his boys and with his mama at his side.

Surf started off performing “Cocaine Paradise” a cappella with all his fans shouting out the words with him. He then proceeded to perform the rest of his older hits, with his fans behind his back the entire time! Surf didn’t even need a mic at one point (several points in the show actually).

Surf then began to start performing songs off the new mixtape. He played quite a few songs off the tape including a few entitled “Her Problems”, “Penne Alla Vodka”, “Loyalty” (Ft. Jadakiss), and the “Newark Intro” to name a few. Emanny also took the stage alongside Surf to perform the song they have together on the tape entitled “Keep Praying” (Styles P is on the track too).

In the highly anticipated mixtape you can expect to hear features coming from Joe Budden, Jadakiss, Styles P, Louie V Gutta, Spzzy and more. As for the production, there are a few tracks produced by Trunk Knockaz, and others by Montage, Mike Zombie and more. While you wait for the tape to officially be released check out the making of Newark featuring Joe Budden here!
