Taking a loaded gun to the airport is just something no one should ever do because well… It’s illegal.
Whether you’re a frequent flyer, only take trips when you can or it’s your first time taking a trip, we all know that packing a gun will not get you through TSA any quicker.
Still, according to reports, Dwight Howard packed a loaded gun anyway. The Houston Rockets center attempted to go through security at George Bush Intercontinental Airport and was stopped by a TSA official.
A 26 9mm glock and a round in the chamber was later discovered. It was reported that Howard forgot the gun was in his carry on and due to lenient Texas gun laws, he wasn’t arrested.
Law enforcement was called to remove the gun from the airport, and Howard was able to get back in line to board his flight.
Maybe he was in a rush?
