A fifteen year old from California was arrested and charged with “making terrorist threats and disrupting school activity” after posting lyrics from Eminem’s song “I’m Back” on his instagram account. The lyrics, which made a reference to the 1999 Columbine High School shooting were posted along with this:
“I take seven kids from Columbine, stand em all in line, add an AK-47, a revolver, a nine, a MAC-11 and it outta solve the problem of mine. And that’s a whole school of bullies shot up all at one time. I’m just like Shady and just as crazy as the world was over this whole Y2K thing.”
After school officials were notified by students about his post, they went straight to police who then canceled school on Tuesday for safety reasons. When authorities searched his house they found a bunch of guns, ammunition, and a bulletproof vest. The student is currently in a juvenile detention center while his family maintains his innocence and claims his account got hacked.
