Last week out of nowhere Jay Z surprised everyone when he created an Instagram and posted a picture of himself and Michael Jackson wishing him a happy birthday. The post sent everyone into a craze thinking of course if he made an Instagram he made it to keep it and use it no matter how spaced out the posts were. (Look at Jay’s twitter if you don’t get it) Sadly, Hov deleted his Instagram less than 24 hours after the post to the dismay of many.

Now this is the part where Meek Mill comes in. Addressing the lack of respect some people have online he took to his Instagram to give us some insight on Jay-Z warning him about some of the people who troll on social media. Here’s a short snippet of the post:

“Jayz once told me this social media world was created for people that wouldn’t even speak if they wasn’t present …. For people that was scared to approach a male/female and hold a conversation if they wanted to a number or ask to go on a date! He also said you can’t speak truth on here because this is the fake people world and they gone hate you for that ..” -Meek Mill

This makes a lot of sense for Hov who rarely uses his twitter and follows no one despite having 3.21 Million followers. He hasn’t really said anything since addressing the heat he was catching for how TIDAL was performing, and that felt more like a lecture than anything. The only highlight Hov has on social media is when he answered questions about Magna Carta Holy Grail on twitter a few years back.

Honestly, can you imagine Jay using social media often though?
