Chris Brown just scored an immense victory in his child custody war with his daughter’s mother. After a hearing this morning, (Septermber 11) Chris now has joint custody of Royalty, and he got to take Royalty home today.
Chris Brown and Nia Guzman battled it out in court this morning. She not only wanted to deny Chris any custodial rights based on the grounds that he puts their daughter in “dangerous” situations, she only wanted to give him supervised visitation.
The judge disagreed and now Chris and Nia will share 50/50 physical custody, with Royalty going back and fourth every 4 days. Nia moved to L.A. to be closer to Chris after a DNA test proved that he was the father.
The judge ordered him to pay Nia $2,500 a month in child support, instead of the $15k she wanted.
The judge also ordered Nia not to trash talk Chris or reveal anything about the case on social media.
