September 13 marked 19 years since we lost rap icon Tupac Shakur to an act of senseless violence.
So yesterday in honor of the slain rapper his estate selected 20 artists for a digital art gallery. The gallery was announced a month ago, and held as a contest. Fans submitted their work of the late rapper and the family selected 20 pieces that were featured on both his Instagram and Twitter.
Artists hailed from a number of places that included Delaware, California, Colorado, New York, Florida and even out the country in Australia and England.
The art was extremely creative and showed Tupac in a number of ways. Some of the art was in color and some were in black and white. One artist drew ‘Pac as Bishop in Juice and another recreated his Vibe Magazine cover where he wore a straight jacket.
