Ronda Rousey is not only known as one of the fiercest MMA fighters ever, but apparently she wants to continue to make her mark in Hollywood next. She has made appearances in two films so far, which are “The Expendables 3” and “Furious 7.” She has now just landed her first lead role in the remake of the movie “Road House.” If you aren’t familiar with the movie it’s a film about an east coast bouncer, played by Patrick Swayze, who gets hired to clean up a bar in Missouri.
As of now no screenplay has been officially developed but most likely the movie will be told from a females perspective this time. Rousey has already accepted the role and even talked to Swayze’s widow for a blessing to take on one of her husband’s most prominent roles.
Rousey will be able to juggle her MMA career with acting, as her agent, Brad Slater has guaranteed that her production days will film around her training schedule.
Do you think Rousey can handle this big role? Who knows, but we will see soon enough. Until then enjoy this fight between her and Michelle Rodriguez in Furious 7.
