You would think the man that played Oscar Grant in the movie Fruitvale Station would be a #BlackLivesMatter activist, right? Welp, think again. Actor Michael B. Jordan says he stands for #AllLivesMatter on snapchat, he’s “color blind” when it comes to race and when speculations circled the internet about him dating Kendall Jenner, he believes his fans didnt want him dating her because she was white.

In addition, Jordan tells GQ in an interview that he wants to only play “white roles” and addresses his relationship with Kendall Jenner. He says,

I told my team after I finished Chronicle that I only want to go out for roles that were written for white characters. Me playing the role will make it what it is … Instead of taking something conceptually written for a black guy, I want the stuff that was written for a guy…

It’s the world we live in. They see white and black. I don’t. Kendall’s a friend of mine, you know. I don’t know her, like, that well, but I know her enough. People’s perspective on that is what it is. I don’t f*cking know. I don’t live my life to make other people happy. It’s so weird, though, right? A lot of black fans were feeling like ‘Oh, my god, he should have been with a black woman’ and that whole thing.

Of course, twitter wasted no time and shredded the Fantastic Four actor into pieces. Many of the reactions were referenced from the fact that Jordan’s fame came mainly from his movie Fruitvale Station playing Oscar Grant, a black man that was killed by transit police in Oakland, California.

Get it together Michael! You’ve already lost a lot of your black fans, who were your fans because of your BLACK role.

Take a look at what some people had to say.
