On and off season John Wall continues to make headlines with the stories of his selfless acts. His good heart and good nature exceed the expectation to ball out in clubs with $100,000 tabs on average like most his peers proving that not all athletes are a hundred percent superficial.
This time Wall is lending an abundant helping hand to Bright Beginnings, an organization that provides daily care and nourishment to 150 homeless children in the city that he puts on his back, Washington D.C. In their latest effort Wall has joined the organization to assist them in aiding 100 more children. To graciously thank the NBA baller not only has BBI created the “John Wall, Wall Of Achievement,” but they have also dedicated and named a classroom after him.
Today Sports Illustrated broke the news via Facebook in a post that reads:
“This morning, Washington Wizards point guard, John Wall surprised our organization and BBI Executive Director, Dr. Betty Jo Gaines with a generous donation of $400,000. This phenomenal contribution will significantly impact the development of Bright Beginnings’ second child development center at 3418 4th Street SE in Ward 8.”
