Things continue to go in the favor of Chris Brown regarding his daughter Royalty. First and foremost the custody battle between he and the mother of his child Nia Guzman has been settled to joint physical and legal custody according to TMZ. Following the equal custody, Royalty’s official name is now ‘Royalty Brown’ with no middle name and taking her father’s last name of course.
The details of the settlement include Chris getting Royalty 12 days out of the month and also being responsible for her schooling, health insurance, medical bills and nannies. Luckily for Chris the terms and conditions moving forward will not put a whomping dent in his pocket. He has been ordered to pay Nia $2,500 a month in child support and has to also pay her $15,000 in back support. Lastly as reported by TMZ, the pop singer’s drug test came back positive for both weed and codeine however Brown was able to provide a prescription for both.
No word on how that will weigh in the settlement which is subjected to the judge’s approval but things do seem to be looking up for the rebel singer in all fairness and consideration for the well being of his daughter.
