Kevin Gates is officially a married man!

According to the Louisiana rappers Instagram, he tied the knot with longtime girlfriend and mother of his children, Dreka Haynes, this weekend. In an Instagram post, Gates posted a photo of him and his wife, labeling it “The best thing I ever did”. He also posted a picture with rapper Starlito, with the caption, “My favorite rapper also my brother at my celebration”. Gates, who has never been shy about opening up, showed some his well known raunchy humor by posting a video of him with the caption ” Y’all gotta go ask Dreka if y’all could borrow some of her Royal Pickle from here on out”.

The two got married amongst family and friends at what looked like to be a very elegant and classy event. Gates and the words “elegant & classy” have probably never been used in the same sentence before until now. Gates just recently got passed an incident where he kicked a female fan in the face after grabbing his shorts while he was preforming. Gates later wrote a song entitled “The Truth” where he rapped ” All on the news bout what happened in Florida/ Posted on WorldStar, an iPhone recorded/ She grabbed my d*ck, overreacted, I’m sorry/ Two or three times I had already warned her”.

Controversial issues aside, Gates is now married and is dropping his debut album Islah on Dec.11. Congratulations Kevin and Dreka, we wish you nothing but the best.
