As we know, T.I came for all women when he went on DJ Whoo Kid’s radio show, The Whoolywood Shuffle, and declared that he could not vote for a women to become President blaming it on how “women make very rash decisions emotionally”. The Atlanta rapper quickly learned that messing with women that “make very rash decisions emotionally” should never be done. T.I ruffled so many feathers and shocked so many people with his comments that even Oprah couldn’t believe it.
Since the initial incident, T.I has released a public apology through Twitter and now has released an apology video via Facebook. The caption for the video reads ” I’m being told to be quiet & let this pass…..nah that aint me” he wrote. “So here’s my apology for my jokes that I made on DJ Whoo Kids radio shoe. My words WE NOT meant to be taken so literally. Never saw Whoo Kids show as a social/political platform. However I apologize none the less”.
In the video, T.I says “I never intended to be taken as though I felt women couldn’t be leaders. That was not my intention. I know better than that.” He also said, “I know my daughters as well as your daughters can lead this nation as well as any other nation as long as they can apply themselves and educate themselves and motivate themselves to do so”.
