Erykah Badu has been named the host of the 2015 Soul Train Awards and other than that not to much has been confirmed for the show. What has been set in stone though are the honorees, which include Babyface & Jill Scott.

The first ever “Lady Of Soul Award” will be presented to Jill Scott with good reason. The singer has won a number of Grammys for Best Urban Performance for her singles “Cross My Mind” & “Daydreamin.” Aside from Grammys and topping the charts, she has won 3 Soul Train awards, and recently scored her second number 1 album for her latest release Woman.

Babyface is set to receive the Legend Award for his many accolades he’s collected within his extensive career. From the early 80’s until the present day Babyface has racked up a number of nominations as well as awards. He has snagged 11 Grammys, and earned 26 number 1 hits on the R&B charts. Babyface will be in good company receiving the award with past recipients being Glady’s Knight, Earth, Wind, and Fire and even Keith Sweat.

The two will be honored at the Soul Train awards on November 29.
