Drake’s hit single “Hotline Bling” is currently sitting at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, making it the highest charting song Drake released since “Hold On We’re Going Home” back in 2013. With the song closer than ever to reaching the number one spot, Drake has finally liberated the visuals for the track hoping to shoot it to number 1.
“Hotline Bling” was released back in July but initially overlooked because it dropped with his first Meek Mill diss track “Charged Up” on OVO Sound Radio. While the Meek beef has now blown over, the catchy single hasn’t and may soon be the first number 1 single Drake has had.
A couple days prior to this Drake posted a heartfelt Instagram post about the single hopefully reaching number one. He says if “Hotline Bling” can reach number 1 in the month of October (his birthday month) it would be the biggest moment in his career to date.
Hopefully, his colorful new video gives the song its final push and it makes it to the top of the Billboard 100.
