Clap for Jay Z as he continues to brand his many business ventures and bring bucks into his hometown Brooklyn, NY. The Barclays Center had a new partnership deal with the Jigga Man and they’ve renamed the theater in the arena after Tidal, the treating service owned by Jay Z. This all came after the Tidal X concert that was reportedly streamed by 3.3 million people throughout 189 countries.
“As evidenced by [Tidal X: 1020] the other night, Tidal, when they want to, can put on some big time events,” Barclays Center CEO Brett Yormark told Billboard. “And we anticipate having quite a few here at Barclays Center.”
Tidal will put on a minimum of eight events at the theater a year geared towards upcoming and established artists.
