Yes, imitation is known to be a form of flattery, but straight up copying someone’s idea is flat out wrong and show’s no originality. No one would copy an idea if it wasn’t a great one though, but that still doesn’t make it right!

Just two days ago, Florida rapper Ace Hood released the fourth installation of his starvation series, the “Starvation 4” mixtape. There is no doubt that Ace Hood is a very talented rapper, so where was his creativity when the decision for the mixtape cover was made?


Now, we knew this looked too familiar, as we’ve seen it somewhere recently. Battle Rap god turned mainstream artist Tsu Surf released his long anticipated Newark mixtape a few weeks ago.


Yes, one is a little boy on a chalkboard and one is drawing on the street, but is there much of a difference?
