Ray Rice hasn’t lost all faith in retuning to the NFL. Sources close to him told TMZ that Rice is “training hard and staying ready” just in case he gets a phone call about coming back to the NFL.
The former Raven’s player hasn’t played a single down since his 2013 season, right before he was suspended and released from the team due to the domestic violence incident that took place with his wife. With plenty teams suffering losses of players due to injuries and lack of productivity, Rice is hoping and getting ready for a comeback.
In between his release from the NFL to now, Rice has beens staying out of trouble and been giving back to the community. He’s donated uniforms to a Baltimore recreation center in an effort to rebuild a park. He’s also visited Baltimore schools to donate uniforms and equipment to football teams and cheerleaders.
