Miss Golden Globe is an annual title given out by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. The honoree is traditionally the son or daughter of one of the industry’s most respected actor/director/producer and assists during the Golden Globe Awards ceremony and the person that wins this title is responsible for giving out the Golden Globe award during the ceremony. This year, Jamie Foxx’s daughter Corrine Foxx has been given the title.
“Throughout the years I’ve grown up watching my dad establish himself as a well-respected actor,” Foxx said during a party hosted by the HFPA and InStyle in West Hollywood on November 17th. “I’m honored that HFPA has given me the opportunity to now share the same stage where he’s been recognized for some of his greatest accomplishments.”
Her father, Jamie Foxx was seen in the audience tearing up during his daughter’s speech.
The Golden Globes will air on January 10.
