The Beliebers went hard for Justin this week, making his number one victory on the charts over boy band One Direction look like a cake walk. Bieber’s Purpose album debuted at no.1 on Billboard’s Top 200 album chart selling 522,000 in actual album sales (649,000 if you include streaming sales).

Purpose makes Bieber’s sixth number one album to date, and the biggest debut for 2015 thus far. (Though Adele is about to knock him out of the park.) It also set a new record for most streams during album release week with 205 million streams worldwide (77 million from the U.S).

Bieber is not Def Jam’s only reason to celebrate, though, as they have two other artists in the top 5 as well! Logic’s sophomore album The Incredible True Story landed at No.3 with 135,000 including streams, while Jeezy’s Church In These Streets debuted at No.4 with 107,000.

Congrats to all!
