Jimmy Carlton Winfrey, who was once Young Thug‘s road manager, has received a 20 year sentence for his involvement in the shooting of Lil Wayne’s tour bus back in April.
Winfrey was indicted on 30 counts, which included aggravated assault, criminal damage to property and possession of a firearm, but he only plead guilty to six gang-related charges after he reached a plea deal with the prosecutors that included 10 years in prison and 10 years on probation.
Winfrey is the only person to be charged in connection with the shooting thus far, although Young Thug and Birdman were named as his associates in the original indictment.
No one was injured the night of the shooting.
